My family and I have been going to Nu Eyes for many years now but I decided to write a review because I was really impressed with their COVID safety measures. The store/office is usually very clean but I saw first hand how the staff sanitized the areas after each patient. I was so surprised how thorough they were. I also appreciated how the waiting area was not crowded and they only let 2 families in at a time. When I took my kids to the dentist over the summer I was so upset their waiting area was packed like pre-covid days. As always, Dr. Ma was very thorough and answered all my questions during my check up. I was very happy with my visit even though initially I was worried since Flushing is always so crowded and social distancing doesn't seem to apply there lol.

I've been having chronic pain issues in my eyes for years. I've gone to many eye doctors and have been told it's "just chronic pink eye" and I "should keep the area around my eye clean." Dr. Ma helped me discover that this is not true and provided me with an ointment treatment that has alleviated the pain to my eyes. Since then, I have not needed to see an eye doctor. No more pain! I am grateful I came to Nu Eyes. Thank you, Dr. Ma!

This is the place where I've been getting all my eye exams done for my contact lenses for the past (at least) 4 years or even more. As long as I'm living in NY, and they have the same doctor, this is the place to get eye exams for me. The place is clean. They've got quite a selection of eye glasses. Everyone is always very helpful. Never had any problem. Love the doctor!! She is so friendly, welcoming, funny, and professional.

I went there a week ago. I have been their customers for many years. The staff was super helpful and nice. I really appreciate their organized steps to ensure each customer is social distancing, masking up, and offering free hand sanitizer to ensure the safety of everyone. Their place is cleaned constantly. I feel safe in there. Their advises are also professional and the frame is cheap. In the Flushing community, it's hard to find a store with courtesy and respect, and this is the one!

Came in here on a walk in to get a prescription for contacts after I ran out of my last pair and my rx was expired.

Was done in easily 30-40 minutes. Super easy.

Dr. Yip was professional and went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care off. Office Staff was friendly. Highly recommend!

Love the Kio Yamato frame with the glasses I got here. Definitely the best pair I've ever got in the US. The service was great and everyone was so professional and kind. Nu Eyes takes a lot of vision plans. I have Eyemed and it worked great there.

Also, I was very excited to see so many name brand frames that have nose pieces here (so hard to find at stores that are located in the city). In comparison, I went to one Lens&Crafters at Midtown East last year and I was only able to find a few frames with nose pieces (in the end I had to pick one of them that didn't fit too well on my face). I'm just so happy that Nu Eyes got everything I needed and it's located so close to Main Street Flushing. Definitely gonna come back every year to use my vision plan.
